Originally a picture with little color, except in the eyes. I added the window to the scenery to give lighting to this piece. I added a nice beach with an old scenery look. I made the windows have an older look to give the face distinctive colors. I focused on the eye work. A lot of shading, and extensive work with layering. A nice classic portrait with many views on what the woman is thinking. My vision of sadness reflects in this image. I added blur to the window to give maybe a fuzzy past of memories. Windows, like our eyes are gateways to souls, and imagination. You decide.
